12 point NBL Pacific Northwest Regional Conference, SKIL AAA rated, WKC, W.O.M.A.A., and a part of the National Martial ArtsCircuitwww.nationalmartialartscircuit.com & event qualifier for the the 2017 World Martial Games.

WORLD MARTIAL ART GAMES:

The Tiger Balm Internationals is a W.O.M.A.A.sanctioned, qualifying event to help pick members for TEAM CANADA for the 2017 World Martial Games. Country and place TBA. Please check the WOMAA website:www.womaa.com for further information.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS MANDATORY:

Includes: Hand/foot pads, mouthpiece, and headgear. Protective equipment will be available for sale on site. 14 oz Gloves will be provided for the WKC Continuous, and San Shou sparring divisions. Padded fingerless gloves will be supplied for MMA Sparring (No Face), and Lei Tai Sport Fighting. Padded gear will also be supplied for the Padded Weapons division.

ELEVEN SPARRING CATEGORIES:

SKIL point fighting, SKIL, & WKC Continuous Sparring, MMA Sparring (No Face), Padded Weapons Sparring, San Shou Fighting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Lei Tai Sport Fighting, Taiji Push Hands, and Hapkido Sparring. Please note there is no full contact in any fighting/sparring divisions. All competitive sport fighting is controlled contact only.

PADDED WEAPON’S POINT FIGHTING:

Padded weapon’s point sparring combatants are required to have the following:
Martial arts uniform, mouthpiece, athletic cup (male combatants), fingernails and toenails trimmed, and protective hand pads. Recommended equipment: Knee and shin pads (optional but highly recommended), shoes (non-marking soles), elbow pads (optional but highly recommended), and any safety pads a combatant feels are necessary to prevent injury without restriction of motion.

SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT BY THE EVENT:

Weapon of choice (tomfa, nunchucks, three section staff, katana, staff, and arnis sticks), headgear (re-enforced steel wire cages and full faced head), and chest protectors.

AGE RULE:

All ranks must compete at the age they are as of January 1, 2017.
